In the real world it is all about context. In our business, we were like everyone else way back last century. We offered far more than we would like to do, but in order to make ends meet, we took on more and more until we finally burnt out resources or decided not to live with the lack of gross margin.
We were then ‘lucky’ enough to realise a cash flow that enabled us to niche and to focus on what we did, what we did well and what we wanted to do. In particular it was to make quality certification easy and to make it available to any business. You can find this on our home page on the wonderful interweb. We then go on to tell you why we do this, but I won’t do that here as it would rob of you visiting our web site and discovering that for yourselves.
It did fully fledge one of most favouritest (yes, I did) products, of ongoing support. Which led to the need for productivity which led to our bestest (and again) products ever, myQualityTM our software as a service.
But of course, what we then tell our people depends on whether it is internally or externally communicated. Externally we use the web, brochures, our certifications, newsletters and most importantly our contracts. Then internally, we use our huddles, quality manual, myQuality, and of course our contracts both up and down our supply chain.
So, what do we do? We deign, implement, certify and support quality management systems!
