Transfer your certification
You should should never feel dissatisfied, locked in, or apprehensive of the certification process. And if your are, you should consider changing your current provider. You deserve the very best in price, service and quality of reporting.
"Can you do that?'"
Yes you can. You can transfer between JAS-ANZ accredited certification providers within 10 days with no upfront costs (conditions* apply). Your only fees should be the fees for the next scheduled audit.
"But aren't all certification costs the same?"
No, they are not. Daily rates differ. Accreditation levies differ. Sample sizes differ. Audit durations differ. Some over service and charge accordingly. Some charge metro travel. Some charge travel time. Some even 'hide' fees in non-auditing activities to make them look competitive. It can be very complex.

Conditions* There are two main conditions that could possibly block a transfer. Any open major nonconformance. Any invoicing dispute. Other than that and the availability of the relevant records, a transfer should not be a problem.
A large insurance assessment company had 22 branches within NSW. Their current certification provider was conducting audits every 6 months, sampling 9 branches every 6 months.
