So we collect data from the onset and compile a single source of data. We then use our norms, expectations, assumptions, wish lists, etc. From this an estimate is generated and provided to the prospective client. We then discuss the 3 or 4 options generated. Determine budgets, resources and timelines. Next, we go to a fixed fee, lump sum proposal, mapping out the process and determining what resources the client needs to provide. Once ‘signed-off’ we then generate a contract confirmation document stating milestones, payment schedules, start dates, consulting resources and terms.
Then the fun begins and with the whole of project delivered and monitored to a successful, 100% guaranteed conclusion. But that is another blog.
